Saxony-Anhalt is in the heart of Germany, bordered by Lower-Saxony, Thuringia, Saxony and Brandenburg. The A2, A9, A14 and A38 motorways, well-built national roads and one of the most extensive railway networks in Europe, as well as a highly efficient local transport system mean that any journey to one of Saxony-Anhalt’s tourist attractions will be short and easy.
